HAMDEN, CT, July 10, 2025 — Arts for Learning CT (AFLCT) is proud to announce it has received a $3,000 grant from the Foulds Family Foundation to support the delivery of its “Express Yourself” program at Bennet Academy in Manchester, CT. This dynamic initiative, developed in partnership with Manchester Early Learning Center (MELC), brings creative, hands-on STEAM learning to students through the power of the arts.

The “Express Yourself” program is designed to engage students in multidisciplinary learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Through interactive workshops led by AFLCT’s professional Teaching Artists, students explore creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration while making connections across academic content areas.

With support from the Foulds Family Foundation, AFLCT will continue to serve students at Bennet Academy, a school dedicated to providing equitable learning opportunities for all learners. The funding will directly enhance student access to engaging, culturally responsive arts learning, particularly for those enrolled in after-school and enrichment programs facilitated by MELC.
