John-Michael Parker is an artist, educator, and non-profit leader who was born and raised in Connecticut. After graduating from Yale, he moved to New York City and joined the founding team of The Future Project, an education non-profit that brings social and emotional learning opportunities to high school aged students from New Haven to San Francisco. As the front-man of indie rock band Great Caesar, he has toured across the country and shared music and storytelling in the hopes of building a more just and beautiful world.
John-Michael began his work with Arts for Learning CT in July of 2019, and is working to help the organization continue to build on its long record of success and service while responding to our state's unique educational, artistic, and non-profit landscape.
In addition to his work with AFLCT, John-Michael serves on the board of the Women & Family Life Center and Madison Youth and Family Services.
