AFLCT’s Teaching Artists

Our teaching artists are ambassadors for the arts and for our organization in the community and we are dedicated to supporting their essential work.

Arts for Learning Connecticut maintains a roster of over 70 teaching and performance artists from across Connecticut—and the country!—who utilize their expertise as creative professionals to support learning and education for young people.

Our teaching artists are ambassadors for the arts and for our organization in the community and we are dedicated to supporting their essential work.

AFLCT artists are accepted onto our roster through an application and selection process and are supported through professional development opportunities, collaborative design, program feedback, and internal leadership opportunities. The AFLCT Teaching Artist Council, a group of volunteer artists who join together for quarterly meetings and liaise with our Board of Directors, serve as representatives of our broader community. We are endlessly inspired by the talent, imagination, professionalism, and excellence of these creative professionals who make our work possible—and we think you will be, too!
