HAMDEN, CT, July 10, 2025 — Arts for Learning CT is proud to announce that it has received a $10,000 grant from Fairfield County’s Community Foundation in support of the Connecticut Arts Learning Collaborative (CALC), a statewide initiative to strengthen access to arts education across Connecticut.
This funding will support CALC’s focus on building collaboration among educators, Teaching Artists, and arts leaders; developing an online resource hub; collecting and analyzing state arts education data; and advancing policy and advocacy through a shared action plan.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Fairfield County’s Community Foundation for supporting this important work,” said John-Michael Parker, Executive Director of AFLCT. “Their investment helps bring together voices from across the state to shape a stronger, more equitable future for arts learning in our schools and communities.”
