Arts for Learning Connecticut Receives $3,368 “Supporting Arts in Place” Grant from the Connecticut Office of the Arts

Hamden, CT — November 25, 2025 — Arts for Learning Connecticut (AFLCT) is proud to announce it has been awarded a $3,368 Supporting Arts in Place Grant from the Connecticut Office of the Arts, a program of the Department of Economic and Community Development. This grant supports organizations that play a critical role in strengthening Connecticut’s arts infrastructure, ensuring that communities across the state have access to vibrant, inclusive, and high-quality arts experiences.

The Supporting Arts in Place program provides operational support to nonprofit arts organizations that demonstrate excellence, community impact, sound organizational capacity, and a commitment to equity and access. This funding helps ensure that organizations like AFLCT can continue delivering programming that enriches communities and expands arts learning opportunities for young people statewide.

The grant will support AFLCT’s ongoing efforts to deliver high-quality arts learning programs, strengthen partnerships with schools and community organizations, and expand opportunities for students to explore creativity, build confidence, and develop essential skills through the arts.
