Arts for Learning Connecticut Receives $4,000 Grant from American Savings Foundation

Hamden, CT— Arts for Learning CT (AFLCT) is proud to announce it has received a generous $4,000 Community Grant from the American Savings Foundation. This funding will support the Higher Order Thinking Schools program at Ashford School, enabling students to engage in creative and meaningful educational experiences that integrate the arts into their everyday learning.

“We are incredibly grateful to the American Savings Foundation for their dedication to advancing arts learning in Connecticut’s schools,” said John-Michael Parker, Executive Director of Arts for Learning CT. “This grant empowers us to deliver meaningful arts learning experiences to the students at Ashford School, nurturing their creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative skills.”

This grant from the American Savings Foundation will help AFLCT deliver workshops and residencies tailored to Ashford School’s curriculum, emphasizing creativity, cultural understanding, and social-emotional growth.
